Rama will be 8 weeks old on May 2nd. He has ink black spots, huge paws and great tear marks. He pretty much would have destroyed my shoe laces today if I let him. He went after them within 10 seconds of my entering the room. Today was my first "unsupervised" visit with Rama and Katie. Katie talked to me pretty much the whole time I was there. Rama is so fast it's nearly impossible to keep the toys away from him. He can climb my jeans into my lap with ease now.

Apparently Rama is getting his legs under him.. Brigitte says..

>When I come into my office now...this is what greets me... it's not really my chair any longer, >I just get to borrow it :-)

Rama has started to acquire a taste for his future diet. The healthiest diet you can give a feline.. raw meat with supplements (bones and all). His mom has no interest so he pretty much has it to himself.

How depressing.. from the April 26th 2006 Life magazine issue: Between 50 and 100 wild Ocelot left in the wilds of Texas.

OK, I am totally beside myself now. Rama is lookin so freakin good!!!!

Normally I tell people SVs are anything but lapcats...but Rama seems to think every lap is there for him. I guess it comes from being a spoilt only child...

You can really see his confidence in his legs in the "wrestle" pic with Katie...he's absolutely fearless the way he leaps at her.

OK, he must be fully aware of his coolness. I believe this could become a problem. He also started using the litter box fully 2 weeks ahead of the last litter.

Rama's ears are growing like spring corn, not to mention the rest of him.

I got a short note from Brigitte tonight. It seems I will barely recognize the little guy the next time I see him.

No pics, we're only just back from the show...but I just noticed how Rama's legs have grown... he looks a little silly as they look a bit long for his length of body. I was just saying to JN at dinner that in my opinion it is a GOOD sign when SV kittens look "gawky" and out of proportion. He has little tiny stilts now...and he is happily scampering about the room on them. Too funny how confident he has become in the past two days...sorry to torture you but I thought you'd at least enjoy hearing about it ;-) B
