Rama Day 2

Here is the poop on today. It started with some of my CD jewel cases deposited all over the floor. Pretty benign I thought for his first night.

Rama has already figured out rushing to the door to escape quarantine the second he hears me walking down the hall. He is a strong little bugger too. It is all but impossible to hold onto that ball of fir, teeth and claws when he makes up his mind. He still refuses to be held or restrained, even for a couple of seconds. One breeder tells me "welcome to the world of F1 Savannahs" and Rama's breeder says he will come around because her family was able to hold him. She says gentle persistance is the way. He is plenty calm when he plops down in my lap on his own, but forget about it if it's not his idea in the first place.

As you can see he is plenty comfortable with high places. I'm the uncomfortable one. He sleeps on the cat condo at the 5 foot platform and I have seen him on the 6 foot one.

He about jumped out of his skin tonight when he walked on the laptop keys and caused the rapid fire error bong ;-)

You can set clock by his poops. Every evening at 6pm and he announces the fact before. This is one healthy kitty. Kim did a masterful job with him.

I bought a toy to hang from the cat condo where a loop is provided. It has one of those small temporary key rings to attach the toy. I got a little frog and Rama started playing with it right away. I thought he was going to break a tooth yanking on it but it turned out fine. He just pulled until the key ring gave out and then he had his prize.

I may never be able to give Jody her cat carrier back. Rama stores his toys in there and it's like his Bat cave. If I piss him off it's the first place he runs to. It's full of toys and shredded newspaper.

Mark it sounds like Rama is giving you a run for your Money LOL!! That first picture is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!!!! I can't wait to get my girl but I wonder if she will be as feisty as Rama seems to be? I was hoping to see a day three update....come on now you're slacking LOL:) What's the matter has he tired you out that much?!?!? I'm sure you can handle that bundle of energy just fine but I want to know what to expect so please keep me updated through all your trials and tribulations...thanks.
