Sorry, no pics today... The morning started well and Rama was totally beside himself to have me with him for the first few minutes. As he acclimates he is getting both more friendly and more demanding. He is pretty clumbsy in typical kitten fashion and bangs his head into things often at play. I can't stop chuckling about that drinking method where he stands in the bowl and licks the water off his paws.
3:30 pm rolled around and I crated up Rama for the vet visit. He made quite an impression on the staff and behaved much better than I expected. The vet found no problems and he tested negative for parasites already earlier in the week. We discussed some options and I decided to wait on the blood work until June 2nd when he is due for another vaccination. I will have him chipped when he gets neutered at 6 months. I am still deciding if I want to use Revolution flea control. It protects them against the parasites mosquitos carry as well. I hope he didn't pick up any germs at the vet.
Now it's nearly 10pm and I am going to get me some more Rama head butts and kisses.
