Mann didn't totally let me down but both Heat and Collateral blow this film away. The soundtrack was just adequate and I think C.F. was a poor choice as Sonny Crocket. Mann used the digital medium to good advantage again here and the cinematography was top notch. The parade of cars, boats and planes were impressive but there was not much in the way of car chase or the like. The dialog was very hard to understand through much of the film.
